16 Days Of Activism 2021

​

16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is an international campaign to challenge violence against women and girls. The campaign runs every year from the 25th of November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to 10th of December, Human Rights Day.

The theme chosen by the Commission for this year's campaign is "Your voice can set you free" / "Il-vuċi tiegħek tista' teħilsek".​​

Drawing & Poetry Writing Competition for Local Schools

The Commission on Gender-Based Violence & Domestic Violence invited students from schools all over Malta & Gozo to participate in a Poetry Writing & Drawing Competition. The theme for Primary students was "A Beautiful Friendship" (Ħbiberija Sabiħa) whilst the theme for Secondary students was "We need Love to be Happy and Healthy" (Għandna bżonn l-imħabba biex ngħixu f'saħħitna u kuntenti)
